Her memory began to slip a couple of years ago and declined rapidly from there. MRIs concluded that there was brain atrophy which cannot be reversed. After being tested and assessed, she was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's. I was her caretaker, and she became more dependent on me for her everyday needs. Long story short, <strong>she has moved into a memory care facility in San Antonio.</strong>
