Hi friends. This is Marie Coyne. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my good friend Iraida Ortiz-Davis. Iraida and her husband George are going through an unimaginable situation.

On January 17th, their next-door neighbor drove his car through their home at 3:45 in the morning. The car entered their home, taking out the front of their townhouse and also broke a water pipe, which completely flooded the living room. It is a miracle that no one was injured. Iraida has recently had surgery and is still recovering. She and her husband are displaced from their home. They are currently staying in a one-bedroom efficiency Extended Stay Hotel room, along with their dog Char-Lee. Most of their meals are takeout, as they are not able to cook full meals in their room.
