HELP US KEEP THE FUTURE OF BIODIVERSITY ALIVE

Hi, I'm Aaron Dossey, and I'm excited to invite you to join me in supporting the Invertebrate Studies Institute Inc. With a mission to ignite a global movement for biodiversity conservation, this organization is transforming how we connect with nature. Their flagship Biodome will showcase a remarkable variety of insect and plant species, along with innovative technology that will allow everyone to experience the wonders of biodiversity firsthand.
Your contributions will help fuel this vital work in two significant ways:
  • Supporting the genome sequencing of every insect species on Earth, driving breakthroughs in medicine and sustainable practices.
  • Enhancing the Virtual Biodome app, making this immersive experience accessible to a global audience.
Together, we can make nature impossible to ignore and too valuable to lose. Please consider donating to help the Invertebrate Studies Institute continue their essential work!

The Invertebrate Studies Institute (ISI) Needs YOUR Support — RIGHT NOW!

Imagine a freezer full of priceless insect specimens — decades of irreplaceable biodiversity research — on the verge of being lost forever. Imagine scientists with the knowledge and drive to save our planet forced to walk away because there’s no funding left.

That is the reality we face today.

We are The Invertebrate Studies Institute (ISI), a registered nonprofit with an epic vision:
✨ To ignite a global movement for biodiversity conservation through immersive science, cutting-edge biotech, and powerful storytelling.

But right now, our ability to operate — to protect this genetic treasure trove, hire staff, and drive breakthroughs in science and conservation — is hanging by a thread.

If we don’t act now, decades of work and irreplaceable DNA samples could vanish forever.

Our Vision: A Biodome Like No Other

We are creating the world’s largest insect zoo and the first Biotech Biodome — a living cathedral of biodiversity and innovation that will:

Showcase 1,000 insect species + 1,000 plant species in breathtaking living ecosystems.
Launch a Virtual Biodome app so anyone, anywhere can step inside from their phone or VR headset.
Offer real educational experiences in biotechnology — from drug discovery to molecular biology — so the public can learn how science truly works.
Sequence the genome of EVERY insect species on Earth — fueling AI-powered breakthroughs in:
   Medicine (new drugs & cures)
Agriculture (resilient crops, natural pest control)
️ Climate resilience (nature’s survival strategies)
️ Sustainable materials (biotech replacing plastics & toxins)
Bring science to LIFE with immersive exhibits, live DNA sequencing, and cinematic storytelling.

Visitors will experience rare fruits, spices, and medicinal plants — connecting biodiversity directly to our food, health, and future.

This will make nature impossible to ignore — and too valuable to lose.

Why We Need YOU Now

Big dreams need bold supporters. ISI and its founder, Dr. Aaron T. Dossey, have already:

Secured over $5M in past competitive R&D funding from USDA, DARPA, the Gates Foundation, and more.
❄️ Preserved a freezer of priceless insect specimens — DNA treasures representing decades of biodiversity research.
Published 30+ peer-reviewed scientific papers (including a textbook).
Presented at the largest science and insect fairs in the U.S.
Built the scientific, nonprofit, and biotech foundation for the next frontier of biodiversity innovation.

And we’ve launched our Student Ambassador Program for Biodiversity and Entrepreneurial Mentorship — training the next generation of scientists and innovators to turn passion into action. ‍‍

But today, we need something just as powerful as grants: people like YOU.

Our First $100,000 Goal

We urgently need $100,000 in startup operating support to:

Hire essential staff — a nonprofit development professional, a bookkeeper, and a marketing/outreach professional to build sustainability and impact.
Cover genome sequencing costs — continuing to unlock biodiversity’s hidden genetic code.
Pay core operating expenses — keeping the lights on, the freezers running, and the mission alive.

Every single donation — no matter the size — helps keep science, education, and biodiversity conservation alive when the world needs it most.

Why This Matters — NOW

This is bigger than bugs. This is about:

Our planet’s survival. Insects make up 80% of all animal species and form the foundation of ecosystems — yet scientists warn that 40% of insect species are in decline, and 1 in 3 may face extinction within our lifetime.

Biodiversity in crisis. Since 1970, the world has lost 69% of global wildlife populations (WWF Living Planet Report). Insects — pollinators, decomposers, and life-support systems — are disappearing at terrifying speed.

‍ The collapse of science.

STEM education is underfunded, and science careers are disappearing.

PhD scientists often earn less than service workers.

Entire fields like taxonomy and biodiversity studies are vanishing.

Federal cuts and layoffs at USAID, USDA, and NSF are dismantling infrastructure we desperately need.

The STEM pipeline is broken: since 2000, stable faculty jobs in life sciences have plummeted, while early-career scientists leave in droves.

Future generations. Every child deserves to inherit a world rich with life — not stripped bare by greed, shortsightedness, and neglect.

If we don’t act now, the building blocks of life — the DNA of countless species — could be lost before we even discover them.

How YOU Can Help

✅ Donate now — every $10, $50, $100 directly supports staff, lab costs, and biodiversity research.
✅ Share this campaign — YOUR voice may be the one that brings us the support we need.
✅ Connect us with philanthropists, corporations, or foundations that care about science, climate, and the future of life on Earth.

Together, we can prove that biodiversity is priceless — and too valuable to lose.
