Proposal of Hand Craft Making

Here we request your assistance to please accept our voices that are asking your help. Please help us with funds. We are the indigiouse Ju/‘hoan San people who live in Namibia Tsumkwe. Our names are as follows =Aisa Kristine !Ae, llUce Anna lAi!ae, !’Uu Belinda Kxao, Koba Selina lUi and Xaro Era Kauh.

We really want to have our own craft centre elsewhere in Tsumkwe somewhere that is nice quiet and close to our location. We are all good in making hand crafts from ostrich eggshells. We need funds to buy our own empty egg shell pieces. Then work from self, as we are not that educated people and can not get job easier. For us, it is tough. And that’s why we decided to asking for help elsewhere so that we can help ourselves. We need to have a little building. Where we can work when it’s winter and also when it is raining. Then we need to have electricity inside there for light. It’s like a building, with 2 rooms. Like where we work and another room we display our finished work. For those who are interested in it will come and buy it from there. There we can also have all types of cultural items displayed. Especially the hand making craft.

Once we are hopefully accepted then we will get our building materials. Then once the little building is finished, we will advertise the name of the place to any one and provide our contact details there. Then we can also bring our information about it to Radio station, because in Tsumkwe we have our own NBC that is the !Ah Radio.

Where we can do this where it is safe, like very close to our home. From the if this is progressing much well then we can expand the building and the place as well like the yard.

We really need to getting start as soon as we get help, When our words are accepted. How ever it’s an smaller amounts, we are always appreciate on it. Because hopefully we’ll better amount in future.

It’s guiet important to have such a good thing. Because this will help bring more who into this group in future. Then there will be much better changing and better development in life.
