My name is Anita Tijerina Revilla, and I am currently housing Jehnean, along with our mutual friend Carolyn, her family, and their beloved pups and cats in Long Beach, CA. They were evacuated from their home in Pasadena and could not return due to damage and continued loss of power and water.

Jehnean is a light in her community, using her incredible talent to uplift youth, women, LGBTQ+, and POC communities through her work. Despite her challenges, she remains deeply committed to her craft and mission. Witnessing her resilience and creativity during such a tumultuous time has been humbling. Any contribution you can make will not only help Jehnean stay afloat but will also support someone whose work deeply impacts and inspires countless lives. Jahnean is in LA as a traveling artist and actor. Her production is halted because of the fires, and she has little access to relief funds. Please help her pay for basic living expenses that are not covered under any assistance efforts.

"Greetings and blessings to all. My name is Jehnean Washington. I am a writer, singer, songwriter, performer, actress, and producer. I recently began work on a very important theater production titled "Four Women in Red," a live performance series highlighting the resilience of four women of color who come together under catastrophic, heartbreaking circumstances. Together, they stand in solidarity with their community, forming networks of support and search parties to heal and act against human trafficking while searching for their own missing loved ones.

Unfortunately, our production has been indefinitely halted due to the devastating California Eaton Fire, which forced me to evacuate my home in Altadena, California. Rehearsals were in full swing when safety concerns, delayed grant funds, and the fire's aftermath brought everything to a standstill. This production was my sole source of income, and I am now left without financial stability or a safe place to live.

The situation is dire. My evacuated home has no power, gas, or usable water, and looting have become a constant threat to the area. As a part-time California resident contracted only for this production, I am unable to access certain resources and grants. The halted production means I have no income to cover basic living expenses. I am working tirelessly to survive this difficult time and am asking for your support to raise $5,000 to help me navigate these next few months while awaiting unemployment approval and the potential resumption of our production."
