Help Me Keep Building The Hidden Protocol

For the past year, I’ve been building The Hidden Protocol from the ground up by myself.

What started as a page for researching overlooked stories, questioning narratives, and creating videos around topics I thought deserved more attention has grown into something much bigger than I expected.

Today, The Hidden Protocol reaches hundreds of thousands of people across multiple platforms.

But there is no team behind it.

I handle the research, writing, video editing, graphics, subtitles, effects, original music, podcast production, digital products, research notes, website content, publishing, and everything else that happens behind the scenes.

Over the past year, I’ve built:

- Multiple seasons of The Hidden Protocol podcast

- Full audio episodes and private archives

- Companion explainer and investigation videos

- Research notes for individual episodes

- Original music released across streaming platforms

- Digital guides, PDFs, dossiers, and downloadable resources

- A growing archive of original research and media

- Hundreds of original videos across social media

It takes a significant amount of time and work to keep all of this going.

One of the biggest misconceptions about having a large social media following is that it automatically means you’re making substantial money.

That has not been my experience.

After months of waiting, I was eventually accepted into Facebook’s creator monetization program. My videos were performing well and, for the first time, the work was beginning to generate meaningful income.

Then my content monetization was restricted.

I am also still dealing with Meta regarding money I had already earned that remains withheld.

That has made it much harder to financially sustain the amount of time and resources required to keep The Hidden Protocol operating and growing.

That is why I created this fundraiser.

I’m not asking anyone to support something that doesn’t exist yet.

The work is already here.

The archive is already there and continuing to grow.

The music is already being released.

The podcast is already being produced.

The videos are already being created.

I’m asking anyone who believes this work has value to help me continue expanding it without having to rely entirely on social media platforms deciding whether or not the work deserves to be monetized.
