The Yale Undergraduate Prison Project is partnering with the Alliance for Incarcerated Women, a nonprofit fiercely dedicated to promoting health, dignity, and support for women in the carceral system. We are collecting toiletries and hygiene products to donate to women at the Federal Corrections institute at Danbury, CT. Women's carceral institutions rarely have the funds to provide adequate hygiene resources, and living conditions for the women inside are undignified. By helping increase access to hygiene, we can improve the daily lives of incarcerated women, growing their health and confidence and uplifting our community as a whole.
