Hello.

Many of you know me and know that I have lived in this beautiful country as an upstanding resident for over 30 years. I’ve raised 2 amazing girls who are now standing on their own feet and are becoming incredible assets to this wonderful society.

In all the years of raising them, making sure they were provided for, it never even occurred to me to spend the money it takes ($750) to apply to become an American Citizen. And now it’s more than 30 years later, and here I am, still proud to live in this amazing country, yet still not a citizen.

With the ever-rising cost of living, especially here in CA, I am just not able to save the money by myself and so I’m (very hesitantly) reaching out to see if there are people out there who may want to help me reach my big goal of finally becoming a United States Citizen.

I understand these are hard times for everyone, so even if you can only afford to help with a few dollars, every little bit will be so greatly appreciated .

And once I stand up there, in front of that beautiful flag and recite the oath, I will gratefully think of all of you.
