My name is Maria, and I've been a literacy volunteer and tutor in Minneapolis and Wisconsin 

for 25 years. Currently, I volunteer at a Minneapolis Public School with a large immigrant population. I am raising funds to help students and their families with rent, food, and legal assistance during this difficult time. Our school does not have a PTA or wealthy and connected families who can quickly organize financial support in times of crisis. Funds will go directly to students and their families.
