Ilkley Foodbank was established by Churches Together in Ilkley many years ago. As the need grew, in June 2021, we became an independent Registered Charity. We currently serve over 70 client households in the Ilkley area, and provide food for around 200 - 210 people per month. This has increased slightly in the last 12 months.

Since the beginning we have been generously supported by the community, both through donations in kind at the local supermarkets, and through financial support from organisations and individuals. This has enabled us not only to meet the need locally, but also to support similar organisations in Keighley and Bradford.

In recent months there has been a noticeable reduction in the amount of food donated by the public, which has meant that we have to spend more of our cash in buying supplies. In February we had to spend more than £1100. This means our reserves are being depleted, so we are now launching this fund raising page to try and restore some of the shortfall.
