Support Ian Reed’s family

Donation protected

Tasmanian father of four, real estate and tourism personality, Ian Reed passed away this week following a brief illness.

Following the tragic news of Ian’s sudden death this fund has been established for those that wish to send support to his wife Alice, and their young family.

Already many kind friends have reached out and offered help, cooked meals and sent beautiful messages and gorgeous flowers.

Many friends and associates are now asking for further ways to support Ian’s family.

This fund provides an opportunity (but no obligation!) to those who wish to make a donation to support his family to ease the financial stress of his unexpected passing, as his wife and four children navigate the reality of life and the future without him.

Ian was a beloved Tasmanian family man who would never hesitate to help anyone in need; his friends, his family and his broader community.

He worked in the commercial property sector for the past 12 years and was a strong advocate for the Tasmanian Tourism industry and was dedicated to providing for his family.

Ian died at the age of 44 as a result of a massive stroke the cause of which is under investigation.

Funds from this campaign will be directly donated to Alice Claridge, Ian’s wife and mother of his three youngest children Estelle (6 years old), Jemima (4 years old) and Alfred (2 years old) and step mum to Tahlia (20 years old).

This fundraiser has been set up by close friends of Ian and Alice, with the blessing of Ian’s family.
