My name is Christine Saulut Bonansea , international performing artist, choreographer, and dramaturg based in Berlin. With over 25 years of experience on stage and more than a decade directing my own company, I've dedicated my practice to pushing the boundaries of live performance — blending movement, technology, and human presence into powerful artistic encounters.
In 2010, I founded **Christine Bonansea Company (CBCdance)**, creating performances and research platforms at the crossroads of dance, mixed reality, robotics, motion capture, and AI.
My work has been presented across Europe and beyond, engaging both local and international performing arts communities.
Now, I'm bringing back **HYBRID FESTIVAL** to Berlin in 2026 at Uferstudios Berlin; co-curates with Anastasia Putsykina. she works at the Institute for Fine Arts, UdK, she is active in the Room to Expand festival since 2023 in coordination, technical support, and teaching. She developed media-supported teaching within InKüLe – Innovation for Artistic Teaching at UdK.
We both have been working hard -for free- these past 3 months to create a bold, interdisciplinary mixed media festival that I first directed in 2021.
The HYBRID Festival is an immersive convergence of performance, technology, and collective learning.
Seven curated multidisciplinary productions form the heart of a 3-night experience extending beyond the stage — into research collaborations and cross-cultural dialogues — where artists are also researchers, audiences become participants, and every performance sparks new questions.
Set for May 22–24, 2026, the festival presents work ranging from digital choreography to multimedia installations, fostering collaboration and new forms of artistic expression.
This is a celebration with purpose: reviving the performance scene while building an inclusive foundation for the creative future.
**Your support makes HYBRID FESTIVAL 2026 possible.**
HYBRID FESTIVAL 2026 needs you. We are creating this festival in one of the most difficult moments for independent art in recent memory — international instability, collapsing public funding, and a cultural sector pushed to its limits. The artists, curator and director behind this event are resilient, but they cannot do it alone.
By giving to this campaign, you are directly keeping this work alive — and sending a clear message that independent, experimental art still has a place in our world.
Every euro counts. Every gesture matters.
