January 15th Update: We’re in the final stretch of our fundraising campaign, and we’re so close to making this dream playground a reality! Our biggest remaining need is to raise $116.500 to fund the buildout of the 3–5 year old play area designed especially for our littlest visitors.

Every donation — big or small — helps us move closer to creating a safe, joyful space where young children can play, explore, and grow. If you’re able, please consider donating today and sharing our campaign to help us cross the finish line.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us ❤️

Dec 12th Update: We are beyond grateful for the incredible support shown for our Hurley playground fundraising campaign. The final design is now complete, and building our dream playground will require a $1.6M capital investment.

Thanks to a generous $1M CPA grant and the contributions of our amazing community, we are now less than ~$200K away from fully funding this project. Our goal is to close this gap by February 1, 2026.

Please help us spread the word and keep the momentum going. Together, we can build a better playground and a brighter neighborhood for all our children.

The Hurley School and Neighborhood Partners for the Hurley School (NPHS) are excited to announce a new community playground, breaking ground in Summer 2026!

Thanks to a generous $1 million grant from the Community Preservation Act, we’re well on our way to making this vision a reality. But to build a safe, inclusive, and engaging space for Hurley students and families across our neighborhood, we need your support.

Now is the time for neighbors, friends, and local businesses to come together and help us close the gap.

The new design features a beautiful, safe, and inclusive play space, including:
  • A multi-game court for team sports and social play
  • Structures that promote creativity, movement, and connection
  • Sensory and accessible elements for all children
  • A colorful, permeable surface for better drainage and safety

We thank you in advance for your consideration!
