About Neighborhood Parents for the Hurley School

Neighborhood Partners for the Hurley School (NPHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that acts as the development arm of the Hurley School. The Hurley is a Spanish-English bilingual K-8 Boston public school in the South End. Our school serves a racially, ethnically, and economically diverse student population with over 65% of our students living in high poverty. Our mission is to bridge the gaps in funding that Hurley receives from the Boston Public School System. We are a 100% volunteer run organization led by parents and community members who believe in bilingual public education and want to enhance the experience of all students at the Hurley.
