Support Hunter's Third Cancer Battle

Donation protected
My strong and resilient granddaughter, Hunter, is battling cancer for the third time in her 13 years of life. To summarize her story is hard to do. She was first diagnosed at 2 years old with Rhabdomyosarcoma, then radiation induced Osteosarcoma in the jaw at 7. We learned at this time, she has a rare genetic mutation call Li Fraumeni Syndrome. A rare gene disposition that can cause certain cancers to reoccur through a persons life time. As of May of this year, our family learned that Osteosarcoma came back for the third time, this being in her ear canal from radiation exposure from her first cancer treatment. This recent diagnoses is more of a complicated situation, being it’s location, the aggression, and the type of surgery that is required. All of her cancers have begun on the left side of her head and jaw area. With each surgery to remove these past tumors, behind her ear, in the jaw, reconstructive jaw surgery was in the future plans this summer. However, due to the newly found one, this may be paused. On June 3rd, a few short days before her 13th birthday, she had to start her cancer journey once again. Along with the port surgery, my daughter, Lauren and Hunter's father, Eric, had to make another hard decision to remove, save, and preserve an ovary because of this harsher chemotherapy that inevitability will make her unable to have children, if she decided in the future to have.

My daughter, Lauren, is a small business owner running a locally owned women's boutique, Hope Boutique. She has fully committed herself to Hunter's well being and still needs to be a mom to her son, Cameron.
Due to limited support, our family is kindly asking for financial support during this time. The traveling, food expenses, gas, assistance in keeping her shop afloat and all of the other expenses that she is experiencing including a portion of the cost to have Hunter's ovary removed (insurance only paid a small portion) is becoming quite overwhelming. Any and all donations will be helpful in order to take some of the burden off of Lauren. Once again Hunter and our family will get through and beat this terrible disease that she is having to face again. God Bless You All.
