Support HSPD in Memory of Officer Joe Burson

Donation protected

As a member of this community, I am beyond saddened to hear of the tragic accident involving Officer Joe Burson. Too often, we take for granted the risk taken by officers in our communities on a daily basis to keep us safe and protected. I live off of Hickory Road and heard the commotion from inside my home- and I feel utterly responsible for doing SOMETHING, despite the fact that nothing could possibly make this less of a tragedy.

As the Holly Springs Police Department returns to their posts, I would like each member of the department to know how grateful their community is for their service, and how loved they are for the job that they do each and every day. So, in memory of Officer Burson, please consider making a donation to send an outpouring of love to the honorable men and women that are likely lost in grief right now, but are protecting us anyway.

Thanks to those who have shared, liked, or commented. FYI, I’m not sure if/when I’ll meet my fundraising goal but I will deliver whatever I collect when the goal is met or by next Friday 6/25/21, whichever comes first. I’ll document the donation and make the GoFundMe account inactive at that time.

Thanks for your help and a huge thanks to the officers of Holly Springs!
