With the recent cuts to EBT and food stamp programs, so many families in our community are struggling to put food on the table. I’ve seen it firsthand parents skipping meals so their kids can eat, elderly neighbors relying on canned goods to get through the week, and people who work full-time still walking into food banks because groceries have become almost impossible to afford.

That’s why I decided to take action. I’m starting this GoFundMe to support local food banks and families in need right here in Houston. Every dollar raised will go toward providing fresh groceries, pantry staples, and warm meals to people who are doing their best just to get by.

No one should have to choose between paying rent and eating dinner. If you can’t donate, even sharing this link helps more than you know. Together, we can remind people that community still means something that even when times get tough, we show up for each other.
