Hi, my name is Hope. I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out for help as I navigate a difficult and painful chapter of my life. After years of abuse, I made the hard decision to file for divorce to protect myself and my children’s future.

I am currently fighting for legal protection as resources are very limited in my area: I’ve had to file motions on my own, respond to manipulation and control, and take steps to protect myself. As a survivor of abuse it is important for me to be able to accurately and effectively tell my story and unfortunately I don’t have the financial means to hire an attorney on my own.

Despite the fear and stress, I am choosing to stand up for myself and break the cycle. But I can’t do it alone.

I am asking for support to help cover the legal fees, court filings, and emergency costs that come with protecting myself and my family. Every dollar helps me maintain stability, advocate for my rights in court, and move forward with strength and peace.
