Every day, individuals like Dorothy and John, who are part of the New Jersey Blind Citizens Association (NJBCA), navigate the world with resilience and courage.

Dorothy, a longtime member, finds a sense of independence and a sense of leadership through the programs offered by NJBCA, where she connects with other members and volunteers. She is able to share her life experience for younger members and is able to lead others through that experience.

John is newer to the organization, but has been passionate about the group since his first day. Whether it's sharing stories about his professional baseball career or learning Thai Chi, George loves to learn new skills, share his stories, and drive progress through new educational programs and learning partnerships for those who are blind and vision impaired.

Camp Happiness, has been around for 115 years, and has a tremendous impact on the blind community and the local community as it has served as a hub of the community during its rich history.

The vital services provided that enhance the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired are at risk without your help.

Funds raised through this fundraiser are crucial for maintaining and expanding the vital programs that NJBCA offers. Your contributions will be used to:

Provide educational workshops that empower individuals with practical life skills.
Organize social events that foster connections, build supportive relationships and provide a real sense of community.
Help offset transportation costs for our members to attend all of our social events and workshops
Support daily operations at Camp Happiness, ensuring a safe space for recreation and personal growth.
