Support Honey's Journey to Graduation

My name is Honey. I'm a single mom of 2 children. I am enrolled at Nevada State University and have one semester to finish before I graduate with my bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies with a minor in Interpreting.

I was recently laid off from both of my part time jobs until August and will not be receiving paychecks again until late August/early September. Trying to find a job in the mean time has been next to impossible. My final semester of school (August - December) requires my attendance Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This has made my availability limited to Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Due to this limitation, I have been rejected for jobs repeatedly.

At this current moment in time, Uber is my only way to make money which I've been utilizing 30 - 35 hours a week while juggling child care with my coparent and mother. This has increased my maintenance costs of needing oil changes, new brake pads, fuel and the bad timing of my registration being due in July as well.

This campaign would help me cover the monthly expenses my kids and I need for rent, utilities, car expenses and other household needs until my jobs resume their normal schedules again in the fall.

And to the person sending me messages full of hate and laughing at my struggles, I hope you heal and move on from the anger you are still holding on to.
