Please Help My Dad Regain His Dignity and Peace at Home

My father is currently facing one of the hardest chapters of his life. He’s been in and out of the hospital, battling Parkinson’s disease, ongoing mental health struggles, and deep depression and anxiety. He’s having a difficult time caring for himself and making ends meet—and it’s breaking our hearts.

He’s not just someone with an illness—he’s a father, a friend, and someone who has spent his life supporting others. Now, it’s our turn to support him.

I’m doing everything I can to help from afar, while also working and raising three children. But the distance and life’s demands make it incredibly challenging. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser.

All funds will go directly toward helping him with basic needs and a safe, stable home life, including:

• Groceries, clean drinking water, and toiletries

• Fresh laundry, clean bedding, and clothing

• Utility bills (like PG&E) to keep his home comfortable

• Maintaining a clean and healthy living space

• Supplying paint and art materials—something that brings him a sense of joy and calm

We’re trying everything we can to keep him from needing to move into a skilled nursing facility. He just wants to stay in his own home—where he feels safe and at peace.

Any amount helps:

• $5 for a load of laundry

• A warm meal

• A grocery or Target gift card

• Even a kind message or check-in phone call

I know my dad has had his struggles—but he’s also given so much, and right now, he needs our help more than ever. Please help us come together and give him the care and comfort he deserves.
