Support HOBY Leadership: Help Shape Future Leaders
Donation protected
Hello everyone! I have been selected to be a junior facilitator for HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership), a program that helps sophomores develop their own leadership skills to take home with them and improve their own communities! HOBY has been around since the 1960's and has been thriving ever since. It has a seminar every summer in every state across the country and worldwide across the globe.
I attended HOBY Ohio North as a sophomore last June, and I had the best time of my life. I met friends that I will never forget and I am still in contact with today. The same summer I attended HOBY's WLC (World Leadership Congress) in Chicago, where I met ambassadors from around the world that shared the same ideas that I had and wanted to change the world for the better. It expanded my horizons onto how people interact globally and the cultural diversity around the world. Here as well I devolped further leadership skills and learned essential life skills from guest speakers such as survivor winner ethan zohn to olympians!!
If one thing has changed my life its been HOBY, and I want as many to experience it as possible, which is why I have set up this page. In order to volunteer I need to raise a minimum of 250 dollars that goes to lodging, food, guest speakers, activities, and a lot of other things that contribute to the HOBY experience. If you are able to donate please do, if not please share this page to help me meet my goal and shape the minds of tomorrow's leaders!
