Hi, I’m Christopher Daly, and I’m reaching out to support Hip4Kids Inc—an incredible organization helping kids lead active, healthy lives.
We are raising funds to build and film a free, nationwide digital cooking and nutrition program—including chef-led videos, recipes, and curriculum that will be accessible for FREE to every teacher, afterschool program, and homeschool family in the country.
Imagine a child who has never been taught what healthy food looks like…
A family struggling to put nutritious meals on the table…
A student who wants to learn, but simply doesn’t have access.
Hip4Kids exists for them.
Founded in 1999, Hip4Kids is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation created to combat childhood obesity and Type II diabetes. What started with special needs students in Queens, New York has grown into a movement that has reached over 200,000 children and families through hands-on cooking, nutrition education, and community programs.
We’ve partnered with organizations like the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, the NYS Office of Children & Family Services, The Children’s Aid Society, Emblem Health, and more—bringing healthy living directly into schools, parks, and underserved communities.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
• Teach children how to eat well and prevent disease
• Help them understand where their food comes from
• Build confidence through cooking and life skills
• Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles
• Create lifelong habits that can change the course of their future
Now, we’re taking everything we’ve built over the last 25+ years and making it accessible to every child, everywhere—for free.
We are developing a digital afterschool program that will include:
• Chef-led cooking videos
• Easy-to-follow recipes
• Full lesson plans for teachers and parents
• Curriculum across topics like vegetables, gluten-free, protein, and more
• Specialized resources for children on the autism spectrum and their families
But we can’t do this without your help.
Your donation will go directly toward:
• Writing and developing curriculum
• Filming and producing high-quality cooking videos
• Editing and publishing content online
• Building a platform where teachers can access these tools easily
This is bigger than a program.
This is about giving every child—no matter their background—the chance to learn how to nourish their body, take control of their health, and build a better future.
Please donate today.
Because what we teach kids to put on their plate today… shapes their life tomorrow.
It’s All About What You Put on The Table.
