Hillarie Gaynor Clarke has been one of my best friends for 29 years, and anyone who knows her can tell you how deeply she cares for others. Throughout her life, Hillarie has always been the first to step up when someone is in need—whether it’s helping raise funds for Jamaica, supporting friends through tough times, or guiding loved ones through their own GoFundMe journeys. She’s the person who helps others find their voice and advocates fiercely for those who need it most.

This year has brought unimaginable challenges for Hillarie. After bravely facing a sudden breast cancer diagnosis, she was faced with another life-altering discovery: an inherited antibody deficiency that now requires her to undergo weekly infusions. These new health diagnoses have not only brought a wave of medical and treatment expenses, but have also made it impossible for Hillarie to work. To make matters even more difficult, her PMFLA is over and no more funding can be accessed. On top of all this, Hillarie is also a SCAD survivor since 2019, showing her strength and resilience through every challenge. Despite everything, she has never once asked for help herself—her focus has always been on lifting up those around her.

That’s why I am reaching out on her behalf. The funds raised here will go directly toward Hillarie’s daily living expenses, medical bills, and the ongoing treatments she needs to stay healthy.
