Help Support Her Recovery After a Devastating Attack

As many of you know, our family has been fostering children for many years. Savannah who has been part of our family is now facing an unimaginable situation, and she needs our community’s help.

She was recently the victim of a violent attack in which her attacker threw boiling baby oil on her. The burns cover her entire right side and include first, second, and third-degree burns. It is incredibly painful and traumatic.

She was treated at the hospital but was unfortunately released the same day due to not having health insurance. It’s heartbreaking to see someone in such need receive limited care simply because they don’t have coverage.

The road ahead will be long. Her healing process will take months, and we don’t yet know the extent of the scarring or long-term damage. In addition to the physical injuries, she is also dealing with the emotional and mental trauma from such a horrific experience.

Right now, we are unsure how long she will be unable to work, and the costs for continued medical care, medications, wound care supplies, and basic living expenses are already adding up.

We are asking for help from our community to support her during this incredibly difficult time. No one deserves to go through something like this, and any contribution—no matter the size—will help her focus on healing and rebuilding her life.
