Support Henry After Hurricane Helene

Hey, I'm Henry and I'm currently a student at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.

On Friday, September 27th, Hurricane Helene reached the mountains and western parts of North Carolina, Boone included. I woke up to my car being halfway submerged due to the extreme flooding and watched the water rise to almost covering the hood. I even saw some other cars disappear with how high the water rose.

Unfortunately, my car insurance plan won't cover flooding, so the hopes of receiving reimbursement from them are not high. I ask that anyone willing (and who can) to donate to help me get a new car. I don’t want to overlook the bigger issues going around NC and the people who need more help than I do! This is for anyone who wants to help me out in this situation. ANY amount would be appreciated and I hate that I have to ask for help in this situation.

My heart and prayers go out to everyone in western North Carolina who have lost everything due to Hurricane Helene. This was unimaginable and there is so much devastation.
