<div>On Friday, September 27th, Hurricane Helene reached the mountains and western parts of North Carolina, Boone included. I woke up to my car being halfway submerged due to the extreme flooding and watched the water rise to almost covering the hood. I even saw some other cars disappear with how high the water rose.

<div>Unfortunately, my car insurance plan won't cover flooding, so the hopes of receiving reimbursement from them are not high. <strong>I ask that anyone willing (and who can) to donate to help me get a new car.</strong> I don’t want to overlook the bigger issues going around NC and the people who need more help than I do! This is for anyone who wants to help me out in this situation. <strong>ANY amount would be appreciated and I hate that I have to ask for help in this situation.</strong>

<div>My heart and prayers go out to everyone in western North Carolina who have lost everything due to Hurricane Helene. This was unimaginable and there is so much devastation.
