Thursday, February 20th, my mom, Heather, started her shift at work and shortly thereafter began having pains in her chest and left arm. For someone who has a high pain tolerance, it would take a lot to get her to be seen. She used her best judgment and had someone drive her to the nearest hospital.

After a night of tests, it was determined that she was having a heart attack. Friday, February 21st, she had a heart catheter placed that found a very large blockage in her heart. Had she waited any longer, things would have ended very differently. She had a stent placed and is recovering. She is already thinking about going back to work on Sunday, where she stands on her feet all day serving people.

My mom is a hard worker and would NEVER ask for anything, but her and her heart need rest. It would mean the world to my family if you could help lift this financial burden off of her for a little bit.
