Hi everyone,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. My name is Heather, and I’m grieving the loss of my husband, Michael — the love of my life and the father of our four beautiful children: Josiah, Adria, Leeland, and step daughter EmmaJean.

Our world stopped when we lost him. Right now, my only focus is helping our kids feel safe, loved, and supported as we navigate the unimaginable together. Grief doesn’t pause bills, though, and the financial pressure during this time has been overwhelming.

This GoFundMe is to help cover everyday expenses — bills, utilities, groceries, gas and basic living costs — while we take the time we need to grieve, heal, and adjust to life without Michael. Any support will allow me to be present for my children without the constant fear of how we’re going to make it through each month.
