Wayne County for Warrior Steele
Randall Steele Merritt was born on September 28, 2021 .. this beautiful baby boy came in to this world with a big obstacle to overcome but he’s showing us every day what a little warrior he is ❤️
Steele is the son of Seth and Jennifer Merritt. He was born in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries. He had his first open heart surgery on October 5th and his second open heart surgery on October 18th. Two weeks, two open heart surgeries and through it all Steele continues to show us how strong he is ❤️
More than anything Seth and Jennifer need our prayers. They have been at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for 34 days (as of October 23rd) never leaving Steele’s side. They have left their home and other children and their jobs to be with Baby Steele and this is a real hardship and challenge and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a community we would like to show our love and support by easing the burden for them. Please find it in your hearts to give what you can. Any funds raised here will go directly to Seth, Jennifer and Baby Steele for medical and other costs and care expenses. We appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during these difficult times and we will provide updates on Steele’s journey here. The coming days are critical.
