Help UConn Students Aid La Piedra Community
Donation protected
Hello family and friends! I hope you’re doing well! UConn Bridge to Guanin is a student-run, faculty-advised alternative break trip open to students interested in a career in medicine. Each trip, we send a group of about 15 undergraduate students to the Dominican Republic to learn about the importance of sustainability in public health, understand healthcare access and delivery in public versus private hospitals, promote health literacy, and provide medical care at the Guanin Community Center located in a rural region in the Dominican Republic called La Piedra.
In preparation for our trip in January, our group is hoping to fundraise and collect donations for items that are in the greatest need within the La Piedra community.
We truly appreciate your unrelenting support for this community! Thank you so much!
