Support Local Activists through Yoga Therapy Retreat
My name is Haley and I am a volunteer with a local organization called 805 Undocufund. We work to document ICE activities, inform community members of their rights, provide monetary and emotional support, and soooooo much more!
The volunteers committed to serving SLO, Santa Maria and Lompoc have experienced more collective trauma than any one should have to endure in a lifetime. I am raising funds to provide a safe space to process that trauma and grief through yoga therapy.
My dear friend, Melissa Shah (she/they), is a South Asian yoga therapist based out of LA and they are willing to travel to Santa Maria and host a one day retreat for any RRN volunteer that would like to attend!
This will be a FREE event for volunteers, which is why I have started this fundraiser. I am attempting to raise some money to pay Melissa for their labor and to cover the cost of gas, food and drinks for volunteers on the day of the event.
