The time has come to RISE UP.
You care deeply about the raging wars and conflicts around the world. And like many, you’ve given up hope that our political leaders hold the tools to stop this madness.
Sometimes when you read the news of the horrors of simple humans, you feel the emotion rise, but you quickly stuff it away again, because you don’t know what’s the point. Millions of people around the world are stuck in the cycle of endless wars, and you wish there was something YOU could do to help.
Truly, our so-called leaders are failing us. As deep conflict continues to bring huge suffering on a humanitarian level, you ask yourself again and again, “But what can I do about it?”
We’ve got an answer. It may seem small at first, but when a butterfly flaps it wings, it has the power to unleash the force of a hurricane.
We are taking matters into our own hands. We are thinking outside the box. The new revolution does not start in the streets.
It begins in the heart.
The root cause of geopolitical conflict is ancestral trauma. Age-old struggles to secure resources and physical safety have gone unhealed.
The war in Palestine-Israel-Lebanon has its roots in the unhealed trauma of the Holocaust/pograms and the Nakba. Generations ago trauma was born, and today we see the continuing manifestation of the fear and pain.
The war in Ukraine has its roots in the actions of the Soviets under Stalin and the genocide he waged against Ukrainian people, which has similarly manifested as a modern war over resources, cultural identity and political power.
There is a diaspora of people from these war-torn regions who have escaped, living far from their homeland, disconnected from their families and culture, and feeling hopeless.
How can we heal trauma that is generational, nestled deep into the bodies and psyches of millions of people?
Talking doesn’t seem to work.
Nir Shraiber of Kulam Project and Casya Childers have formulated something that DOES work. It doesn’t involve marching in the streets, political discourse, or lobbying politicians.
It’s so simple and yet so profound.
Imagine a group of 30 people hailing from different backgrounds, different religions, all carrying ancestral trauma stretching generations. They sit together in circle, and simply sing and move together.
We have created a safe, loving world-class retreat environment where people can slowly open their bodies and minds, unleashing their authentic voice and connecting to each other without words.
The results are palpable. The tears that fall are beyond stories, beyond our conscious knowing of where they come from. We cry and laugh and dance and heal. We create a new tribe based not on borders and politics, but firmly rooted in our shared longing for peace.
It’s accessible to anyone who feels the call. It’s beyond language and culture. We return to the original thread of humanity that connects us all - sitting in circle and singing.
Introducing HEALING VOICES FOR PEACE.
This is the nonprofit version of Kulam Project’s Healing Voices retreats, where participants from war-torn conflict areas are invited as guests to join a 3-day journey of deep healing. These courageous souls will be the sparks that spread a new wave of hope and reconciliation within their families, communities and countries.
Nir and Casya have combined our facilitation skills to birth an offering so potent, we can see the alchemy of fear into love right before our eyes.
This June we launch our first retreat in Orgiva, Spain. Invited are 6 Israelis, 6 Arabs, 6 Ukrainians and 6 Russians. They have in common a deep desire to do something different, to look inside and do their part to generate a new frequency of love towards their fellow human.
Scaling it up? We will be filming the whole thing so that the magic that arises can spread even faster around the world, showing our children that we have the power to wage peace in our own hands.
