By God's grace, I am headed back to Guatemala!!!
I have been given yet another exciting opportunity to serve in the beautiful country of Guatemala alongside a team of students from Liberty University! This will be my 5th trip—something that fills me with immense gratitude and joy. Each year, the Lord has gone before us, opening doors, providing exactly what was needed, and faithfully funding every step of the journey through the generosity and prayers of others. Looking back, it is a joy to reflect on how God has used past trips to plant seeds, strengthen local churches, and transform lives, including our own. We are especially excited to return to the same region this year to see how God has continued His work and to rejoice in the growth we know He is faithfully bringing about.
We will again be partnering with a ministry called SEPAL (Serving and Equipping Pastors and Leaders) by assisting with children’s ministry, participating in potential construction projects, and offering encouragement to the congregations we partner with. Children’s ministry will include visiting churches and schools, hosting VBS-style programs, playing sports, and most importantly, sharing the love of Christ and the truth of the Gospel with the next generation. All of this is done through the local church, with the hope that families and children will become connected to a body of believers grounded in the truth of Scripture.
This year’s trip will take place from March 13–21. To participate, I am required to raise both prayer support and $1,800 to cover the cost of the trip. In years past, God has graciously provided every dollar needed, and I am confident that He will do so again through His people. I ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me, whether through financial support or prayer, as we seek to make Christ known.
Above all, we deeply appreciate your prayers. There is much to be done, and we desire to steward our time well for God’s glory.
Sincerely,
Hayley Keogh
