Hi, I’m Diane Porter Cozart, and I’m raising funds to support Harvest for the Hungry Food Pantry, an organization dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in our community. Every day, countless families struggle to put food on the table, and Harvest for the Hungry is there to help. Together, we can make their life a little bit easier.

In 2025 the pantry served 6,976 families consisting of 4,400 seniors, 10,208 adults, and 4,637 children for a total of 19,245 people served. This equated to a total of 173,205 meals. The poundage to support these meals during 2025 was 459,684 lbs or 230 tons. The van you saw pictured is affectionately known as Myrtle and has performed moving this poundage pulling a box trailer for 13 years. Last week, Myrtle's engine blew up. She has close to 300,000 miles.

Your contributions will help us buy a new cargo van. We found one for $44,000 with the necessary pull power to manage our loads of food. This is vital for our operation as we cannot afford to rent a truck on a weekly basis. Please help us keep the community fed? No donation is small (or too large). We run 100% on donations.
