My wonderful parents, Harvey and Lynda Newman, have lived in Altadena, CA since 1982 and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. The January 7th Eaton Fire threatened to destroy their beautiful, 1920's Tudor-style home on Braeburn Rd. While the structure is still standing, the home is uninhabitable due to the toxic residue left behind by the January fires.

Harvey and Lynda are living in temporary housing while still paying their mortgage for the damaged home. Almost all possessions are a total loss. The house will require a gut renovation. The grounds will also need to be cleared and then tested, which we have verified is not covered by the insurance company. In light of these challenges, any financial assistance is appreciated during this difficult time.
