We are devastated to share that Harriet and Grace have lost their beloved mum, my sister Clare. She was their world — a brave, strong, loving mother who fought myeloma with incredible courage and dignity.

Clare faced challenges no one should ever have to face. Despite her strength, and despite the love she had for her girls, her final week was made even harder because she was not given the level of care and support she deserved. Harriet and Grace are not only grieving the loss of their mum, but are also trying to make sense of the pain and confusion surrounding the circumstances at the end of her life. This is a heavy and heartbreaking burden for two young girls to carry.

Now, alongside their grief, they are facing serious financial hardship.

They urgently need help with:

• Funeral and memorial costs

• Day-to-day living expenses

• Support to keep their family home

Their home is filled with memories of their mum — her voice, her love, her warmth. Losing it would mean losing the last piece of stability they have left.

No one should have to fear losing their home while grieving their mother.
