Support Hannah through her toughest time

Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a heart full of pain and hope asking for help for my sister, Hannah. She’s one of the strongest people I know, and she has been through more heartbreak, trauma, and loss than anyone should ever have to face. Through it all, she has kept going for her son, for survival, and for the hope that maybe, just maybe, things will one day get better.
Hannah became a mum at just 18 years old. From the very beginning, she worked relentlessly to give her baby the best life she could walking home alone after late night shifts just to save every penny. Her son was born more than 2 1/2 months early, and spent a long time in hospital. Hannah was by his side from early morning until late at night, often staying until 11 PM alone, tired, scared but always there, always loving, never giving up.
She’s never had a safety net. She’s always had to be the provider, the protector, the one who holds it all together.
Before her long-term relationship, Hannah was in a deeply abusive relationship. Her partner physically hurt her. She hid the bruises and the pain not just on her body, but in her heart. She got out, but the scars stayed. Still, she pressed forward.
Eventually, she met someone who gave her hope again a partner she was with for 3 1/2 years. During that time, she became pregnant again and was filled with love and excitement for the future. But at her scan, she was told the unthinkable: there was no heartbeat. It was a missed miscarriage. She had been carrying her baby without knowing the little heart had stopped beating. It was devastating.
As she was grieving that loss, her relationship ended. Then she lost her job. And still she didn't stop. She couldn’t. She worked three jobs, including running her own small business, just to afford rent, bills, and food. She worked through grief, through pain, through rain outside, exhausted, but determined to keep going for her son.
Then came skin cancer. She had to have it surgically removed not once, but twice. Still, she worked through the recovery because she had no choice. No one else was going to pay the bills or keep food on the table.
But after everything, something beautiful finally entered her life: love.
Hannah met someone who made her feel safe again. Someone who truly loved her and accepted her and her son. They were planning a future together. She was packing her bags, preparing to fly to America to start a new chapter with him.
Then, on Sunday night, June 8th, just days before her flight, he was killed in a tragic motorbike accident.
He tried to call her at 8.25pm the exact time of the crash. She missed the call.
The next day, she was meant to board her flight to go be with him. Instead, she was told he was gone.
His funeral was held just four days later on Hannah’s birthday, Thursday 12th June.
Two weeks before that, she had crashed her car, yet another blow in a life already full of them. And still, even after losing the love of her life, she had to return to work almost immediately. Because grief doesn’t pay the rent. Because she has a little boy who depends on her.
Hannah is surviving on sheer willpower right now. She’s grieving, hurting, and overwhelmed but she still gets up, goes to work, and tries her best to keep going. She has always carried everything on her own. But now, she truly needs help.
This GoFundMe is to give Hannah something she’s never really had a break. A chance to breathe. To grieve properly. To heal without the constant pressure of survival.
Your donations will go directly toward helping her cover basic living costs, therapy, childcare, and anything else she needs to begin again with some peace, and hopefully, some hope.
Hannah has always shown up for others, even when her own world was falling apart. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
If you can give even the smallest amount please know it would mean the world. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing her story. Every bit of support matters.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for giving Hannah the chance to rebuild her life.
With love and deep gratitude,
Angel
