Support Hania’s humanitarian work
Donation protected
My name is Lilly and I am in Seattle WA, I am currently trying to raise funds for my dear friend Hania, I will let her tell her story:
My name is Hania, a woman from Gaza, a humanitarian activist before being just a recipient of help. I have lived through years of war, bombardment, and displacement, and I often found myself facing two choices: either to surrender to reality, or to resist with hope. I chose to resist, because I believe that life is worth living no matter how harsh it becomes.
But my struggle is not only with the effects of war. I have lived for years with type 1 diabetes, a condition that forces me to depend on daily treatment and insulin. During one of the bombings, I was directly injured in the chest, and a piece of shrapnel still remains inside me today—making breathing and movement yet another challenge on top of my illness. Under blockade and the severe lack of medicines, even the simplest right to live has become a daily battle.
Despite all this, I never stopped my humanitarian work. I continue to try to be part of the little rays of hope in my community. I organize small initiatives to support families who have lost everything, I visit children living under the trauma of war to draw a smile on their faces, and I stand with women who carry the burdens of displacement and loss on their own.
But today, I am in need of your support—not only to secure the treatment that keeps me able to survive and resist, but also to continue my humanitarian efforts. Every donation you give is a way for me to do something small that may bring a glimpse of hope to others in a time when everyone desperately needs to hold on to life.
Your support is a lifeline—for me, and for those I can reach. It is proof that the world still has a beating human heart, and that solidarity can change destinies.
Help keep hope alive amidst the rubble, help me continue my path, and prove that even in the darkest of times, humanity can prevail.
