My name is Gunnar, and I am currently working towards the rank of Eagle Scout. For my Eagle project, I will be partnering with my local community garden to make important repairs and improvements that will benefit volunteers and gardeners for years to come.
Over the years, many areas of the garden have weathered badly, and several parts are no longer safe or usable. My project will restore and protect the garden by completing three major tasks:
1. Replacing old, rotted garden plots.
2. Refinishing and repairing two rusty park benches.
3. Protecting the garden shed from rain.
Your donation will go towards funding:
- The construction and repair of two 4x10 foot garden plots. All of the food grown in these plots is donated to the Queen Anne FoodBank.
- The repair/rebuilding of two rusty iron benches.
- The installation of an aluminum drip gaurd to prevent the shed door from delaminating during rains.
