Hello, my name is Sarisa from Los Angeles, CA, and this is a fundraiser for the Gross family. Last week, my dear friend Alycia’s dad and his wife (Gregg and Bianca Gross) lost their home in the Eaton Fire that ravaged Altadena, CA. Thankfully, they were able to safely evacuate with a few items but sadly lost everything. Everyone who has met Gregg & Bianca knows them as sweet, kind, funny, giving people, and this loss is heartbreaking, not only for them but for the people in their orbit as well.
For 43 years, this home has been a wonderful gathering place for so many of their family and friends, creating fun and lasting memories along the way. Raising his daughter, Alycia, here. Hosting numerous Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners through the years. A multitude of random days filled with laughter, dancing, BBQs, and shooting pool. Even the quiet nights, just watching TV; losing their home has been devastating.
While they navigate the insurance process, we ask that you help in any way that you can. These funds will specifically be used for clothing, help toward their temporary home, and any additional immediate needs that may arise during this time. We know that they are one of thousands of families who have been affected by the fires which ravaged the community, so any amount of assistance that you may give is appreciated. And if you are unable to donate, just sharing this campaign would be an amazing gift of kindness as well.
In the meantime, please keep them, along with everyone else affected by the fires, in your prayers. All the love and support from you is truly felt and met with tremendous gratitude.
