Support Grant and Lori's Recovery from Flood Damage

Hello, I am Lisa Ricketts. I am starting this Go Fund Me account for my sister and brother-in-law, Grant and Lori Griffin. They are long-term residence of Hunt, Texas and we’re greatly affected by the horrible floods on July 4, 2025. They are just starting to see some of the incredible damage around them, with their land in their home. Time will tell what all can be done to fix it back to livable. At this time, they have no electricity, and will be a while before that will be restored.

Lori wanted everyone to know that they have a place to stay, and that they are safe and OK. She just asked for prayers for the ones that have lost family members during this horrible event. She is unable to answer all the calls, but appreciates all the love and support that has poured out to them. Due to low cell service and hard to keep her phone charged she asked for people to text as calls are difficult to make.

They live next-door to Camp Mystic, and we’re able to rescue two girls out of the trees and keep them safe until helicopters picked them up later.
