Support Grant and His Boys After Kim's Passing

Donation protected
As many of you know, my sister-in-law Kim passed away on March 2, 2025 after struggling for several years with serious health issues. She leaves behind my brother Grant, and his 3 boys… Caleb (20), Isaac (17), and Jakob (9). For most of their marriage, Kim worked in the medical field, while Grant worked odd jobs and primarily cared for their 2 children with special needs. As a nurse, Kim was the family’s main source of income until a devastating car accident in early 2020. Sadly, this event was followed by a brainstem stroke which left her unable to work, and started her overall health and mental decline.

Kim’s health crisis had already created much hardship on the family for the past 5 years, but her passing leaves them heartbroken, and in a rather desperate financial situation. Please help support Grant as he now steps into the role of main provider and single parent, and starts the process of rebuilding. Both of his older boys are Autistic and therefore are unable to drive, and will most likely need support for the rest of their lives. The challenges are many, and the needs are great.

Many of you have asked how you can help… So we are reaching out to our community for support in assisting with some of the family’s very practical needs…

We are aiming to raise $5,000 for a new transmission (or new family vehicle). Any additional donations will go toward Kim’s outstanding medical bills and school loans. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Let’s get Grant rolling!!!!

$ for new transmission (or new family vehicle)
$ for outstanding medical bills
$ for Kim’s outstanding school loans
New Job ideas/connections for Grant
(Colorado springs area, daytime hours)

Thank you for considering contributing! We are so grateful for the love and support we have received during this time. Your kindness and generosity (& PRAYERS!) mean the world to us.

Thanks again!
