**update September 28th**

It pains me with a heavy heart to update you all my grandpa will unfortunately be deported, despite this we will still have to pay the immigration attorney for their services even if it was to no avail. Please keep sharing his story and consider donating if you can. My grandma is all alone barely getting by paying all the bills by herself even with our help since my grandpa made the entirety of their income. Thank you all again ❤️

On August 4th 2025 my grandfather Jose Angel Rodriguez loa and his friends were taken by ICE after a traffic stop on I-10 and culebra in San Antonio TX. A heavy minority area.

My grandmother called my mom informing her of what happened, urging for someone to be there with him out of fear of what those ICE agents would do to him and his friends. My mother and I were the first to arrive at the scene but by the time we managed to get there they already had my grandpa in the back of an unmarked black SUV.

Luckily my grandpa is still safe and at a decent immigration detention facility with no talks about being deported so far. We have an immigration attorney to represent him who even says he has a high chance of being allowed to stay. But now we have the attorney fees to worry about.

The goal is $7000, if the amount changes I will update the goal but as far as my grandma is aware that is the total costs.

Jose Angel Rodriguez loa was not a criminal. He only goes to work and home unless we had a family outing, he is quiet and kept to himself. He even paid his taxes on time despite not being a citizen. Help us bring him home.

Este día 04 d agosto fue devastador para mi y mi esposo recibí su videollamada alas7:16 d la mañana diciendo que me paró un state trooper y creo le esta llamando a ice me pidió licencia d conducir ‍♀️y no tengo y lo sintió inmediatamente……me dijo te amo y se q me van a llevardile a diana que x favor venga por mi camioneta tengo herramienta y estos güey es no les importa …. Dejó llaves , y su wallet… y me termino la llamada el ina rumbo a su trabajo

Es devastador que sean tan injustos y ahora estoy pasando x tanto….nosotros nos casamos en 2007 y desde ese año hemos vivido tan felices …..

Los gastos d abogado son bastante alt Espero en Dios podamos hacer algo para que nos podamos reunir pronto
