I am writing to you today on behalf of an 84-year-old grandmother who lives alone in Busan. She makes a small living by selling lettuce on the street. I had the pleasure of meeting her approximately four months ago and will be returning to Busan in about a week, where I plan to surprise her.

She has shared some of her life story with me, including her desire to write, her fondness for food, and the fact that she is missing two of her teeth. With the funds raised through our efforts, we are hopeful that we can provide her with dental care, enroll her in a writing class for elderly individuals, and provide her with additional assistance if necessary.
