Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. My grandmother has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and, unfortunately, has been given at most a year to live. If chemo works, a year and a half. As our family navigates this challenging time, we are seeking your support to help cover the costs associated with her end-of-life care and the expenses that my mom is incurring while taking care of her.

Throughout her life, my grandmother has been a source of love and support to our family. Her compassion and strength have deeply impacted those around her. She is the mother of four wonderful children, one of which of course being my mother. As some of you know, we lost my uncle due to nearly overnight sepsis around 2 years ago. Her next oldest child, another uncle of mine, is currently on his third bout of cancer and was given 9 months to live. He has now passed said nine months, but my grandmother is now contending with the loss of a second child and her own illness. As she approaches the end of her journey, we want to ensure she receives the care and dignity she deserves in her final days.

My mom has dedicated herself to being by her mother's side, providing care and emotional support during this difficult time. This commitment has brought about unexpected financial burdens, including medical bills, home care services, and other essential expenses.

Cover Medical and End-of-Life Care Costs: These include in-home care, medications, and any additional needs to make my grandma’s remaining time as comfortable as possible.

Support My Mom’s Expenses: To ease the financial strain on my mom as she focuses on providing the best care and spending precious moments with her mother.
