Our family is facing an unexpected crisis, and we’re asking for help to keep our Grandma Nona safe while honoring the life of our beloved Grandpa Chuck.

Recently, Grandma Nona found her husband, Grandpa Chuck, deceased in their home. While navigating this heartbreaking loss and planning a Celebration of Life in his honor, she is also facing serious health and housing concerns of her own.

Grandma is 89 years old and has ongoing health issues. Their home’s air conditioning is currently not functioning during extreme desert temperatures, and she was admitted to the ER for dehydration. Because of her age and medical concerns, our family does not feel it is safe for her to return home until the cooling situation has been resolved and we can ensure she is safe.

We are raising funds to help cover emergency housing, temporary lodging, cooling and home repair expenses, Grandpa Chuck’s Celebration of Life, and other immediate needs while we work through this difficult situation.

Anyone who knows Grandma Nona and Grandpa Chuck knows how loving, generous, and devoted they have always been to their family and friends. Grandpa Chuck touched many lives, and we hope to honor his memory in a meaningful way while making sure Grandma Nona has the support and care she needs during this transition.

Grandma Nona has always been fiercely independent, generous, and loving. Right now, she needs the same support and care that she has given to others throughout her life.
