My dear son, Peter Pentz, passed away October 30th, 2025. We wanted to honor him by opening a GO FUND ME for Good Cheer Food Bank. He was a recipient of the SNAP program during unemployment and really appreciated it.

We have heard from so many friends that he was such a kind ,gentle person that made people feel seen and appreciated. He had a wicked sense of humor, a great love of music, art and literature, and a forever student of learning.

We loved the side of Peter that read to David out loud every day of his last year of life.

We loved the side of Peter that pranked Hilary at Christmas with various gifts that had us all laughing with tears streaming down our faces.

We love that he could sense when someone was struggling, and he could sit and be there for them, so they didn’t feel like they were alone.

He was a brother, friend and son that made people’s lives better. We are so sad he has left us.
