Support the documentary Gloria

Your donation is funding Gloria, the documentary about Gloria and Raymond Naftali. Gloria’s dying wish was to keep the West Chelsea Arts Building dedicated to art studios and galleries. But her wish is in limbo. 

I’m Paul Michael Graves and I am lucky to be one of the artists in her iconic building. All of our studios are under threat of eviction because her estate is selling the building with no guarantees that her wish be granted. We are hoping they’ll find the right buyer who will continue her vision but we are also preparing for the worst. 

Our community may not be around much longer. I am making my way through the building, filming each individual story one at a time. I intend to preserve her legacy by documenting the community she dedicated her life to before we’re forced to leave. Perhaps my documentary can do more.
