Hellloo, I’m Ollie Massolo — a nature photographer, environmentalist, DJ, and founder of OLtrails, a platform where I share outdoor adventures and community-driven projects. I’m originally from Miami, Florida, and now based in Boulder, Colorado.
Like many others, I’ve been deeply moved by the recent devastation in Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa. Entire communities have been displaced, and many families are still working to access basic needs.
This Sunday, November 9, I’ll be hosting a community hike up Mt. Sanitas in Boulder to raise funds and awareness for relief efforts. We’ll meet at 9 AM at the Sanitas Trailhead, take our time up to the summit, and share the morning together.
I’ll have drinks and snacks available before and after the hike — everyone’s welcome to join.
Leading up to Sunday, I’ll also be hiking as many miles as I can throughout the week to raise awareness and keep the conversation going.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the GlobalGiving Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund, which supports trusted on-the-ground organizations providing food, shelter, and medical care for those affected.
I’m not directly affiliated with GlobalGiving — I just wanted to use my platform to help channel support to a transparent, credible organization already doing great work. Once the fundraiser closes, 100% of the collected funds will be transferred to GlobalGiving, and I’ll share proof of the donation.
Whether you join the hike, donate, or simply share this page, you’ll be helping people rebuild after a devastating storm.
Tell your friends, tell your family, and let’s do some good — start our Sunday and end our week on a positive note.
Thank you for showing love and support — every mile and every dollar truly counts.
